Refund policy
Last updated October 2026 · Terms of use →
1. Who handles your refund
Pro can be bought in three places, and the refund is handled by the one that sold it to you:
- On the website fairpiece.com — by Paddle.com, our online reseller and the Merchant of Record for all our orders on the website (section 2).
- In the iOS application — by Apple, under the App Store's policies (section 5).
- In the Android application — by Google, under Google Play's policies (section 6).
Not sure where you bought it? Look at the email receipt: it comes from Paddle, Apple or Google.
2. Purchases on the website
- 14-day refund. You can ask for a full refund of any payment for Pro made on the website — the first payment of a subscription, a renewal or a lifetime purchase — within 14 days of that payment. You do not need to give a reason. The refund covers the whole amount you paid, tax included.
- How to ask. Use the link in Paddle's email about your purchase or go to paddle.net, find the purchase and choose to request a refund. You can also write to us at support@fairpiece.com with the email address you used at checkout, and we will have the refund issued through Paddle.
- After 14 days a payment is not refunded, unless the law requires it or Pro did not work because of a fault on our side that we could not fix. In that case write to us first; if we cannot solve it, Paddle refunds in line with consumer protection law.
- What happens next. Paddle returns the money to the payment method you used, usually within 14 days of approving the refund; your bank may take a few more days to show it. The Pro paid for by the refunded payment ends when the refund is issued. A refund does not always cancel the subscription by itself — cancel it as described in section 4 so that it does not renew.
- Refunds may be refused where there is evidence of fraud or abuse of refunds. Please contact Paddle or us before disputing a charge with your bank: a chargeback may suspend your Pro while it is reviewed.
Paddle's Buyer Terms and refund policy also apply to purchases on the website; this policy adds our 14-day refund to them.
3. Right of withdrawal in the EU, the EEA and the UK
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the law gives you the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Pro starts as soon as you buy it, so at checkout you may be asked to agree that it is made available right away and to acknowledge that, for digital content, you then lose the right of withdrawal. Whatever you agreed to at checkout, our 14-day refund in section 2 applies to every payment on the website, so you can always get your money back within 14 days of a payment.
To withdraw, use the withdrawal option in Paddle's customer portal — open it from Profile → Manage subscription, from the link in Paddle's email or at paddle.net — or send Paddle or us a clear statement that you withdraw from the purchase.
For purchases in the application, Apple and Google handle withdrawal under their own terms (sections 5 and 6).
4. Cancelling a subscription
- Website: Profile → Manage subscription opens Paddle's customer portal, where you can cancel; the link in Paddle's email and paddle.net lead there too.
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling alone does not refund the current period — to get money back, ask for a refund as described in sections 2, 5 and 6. Deleting the application or your account does not cancel a subscription. There is no free trial, neither in the application nor on the website.
5. Purchases in the iOS application
Purchases in the iOS application are sold by Apple, and only Apple can refund them; we cannot refund an App Store purchase ourselves. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com — Apple explains the steps in its support article. Apple decides on the request under its own policies and the law of your country.
6. Purchases in the Android application
Purchases in the Android application are sold through Google Play. Request a refund on Google Play — Google explains how in its help article — and Google decides under its own policies and the law of your country. You can also write to us: as the developer, we can refund a Google Play order through Google Play.
7. Lifetime purchases
A lifetime purchase is a single payment without renewals. On the website it can be refunded within 14 days of the payment like any other (section 2); in the application, Apple or Google decides (sections 5 and 6). After that it is not refunded, unless the law requires it.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights if Pro does not work as described. If something is wrong with Pro, please write to us first — most problems can be solved quickly.
9. Contact
If you have any questions about refunds or cancellations, please contact us at support@fairpiece.com.
